Global Accord Institute seeks a skilled Diplomacy Analyst to join our International Affairs team. You will translate complex global dynamics into actionable policy insights, support outreach to government officials, international organizations, NGOs, and civil society partners, and contribute to research-driven strategy that informs high-level decision-making.
This role offers the opportunity to influence international policy discussions, develop evidence-based recommendations, and collaborate with a diverse network of researchers and practitioners.
Responsibility
- Conduct rigorous policy analysis on international security, trade, human rights, and multilateral diplomacy.
- Prepare briefing materials, policy memos, and position papers for senior leadership and external partners.
- Support diplomatic engagement and relationship management with government officials, think tanks, and international organizations.
- Monitor geopolitical developments and synthesize implications for regional and global strategies.
- Coordinate research projects, manage timelines, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Contribute to public diplomacy initiatives, seminars, and outreach programs.
- Translate complex information into accessible content for diverse audiences.
- Assist in grant writing and fundraising proposals related to international affairs.
Qualification
- Master's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field; PhD preferred.
- 3-5 years of policy analysis, diplomacy, or related experience in think tanks, government, or international organizations.
- Strong understanding of diplomatic processes, multilateral institutions, and geopolitical risk assessment.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills; proven ability to produce concise briefings.
- Experience with stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, MS Office, and visualization software; strong bibliography and citation skills.
- High ethical standards, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
