We are seeking a results-driven Diplomacy Analyst to support international policy initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment in Vienna, Austria. The successful candidate will combine rigorous research with strategic communication and stakeholder engagement to help shape diplomacy and consensus-building across governments, international organizations, and civil society.

Responsibility
- Conduct geopolitical and policy analysis to inform strategy and negotiation processes.
- Prepare briefing materials, policy memos, and position papers for senior leaders and external partners.
- Support multi-stakeholder dialogues, roundtables, and negotiation processes with governments, international organizations, and civil society.
- Monitor developments in international law, treaties, and regional diplomacy initiatives; provide timely risk assessments.
- Build and maintain relationships with diplomats, policymakers, and think tanks to facilitate collaboration.
- Develop crisis scenario planning and contingency recommendations for diplomatic risk management.
- Collaborate with the communications team to craft clear, factual messaging for policymakers and external audiences.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in diplomacy, policy analysis, or international affairs in government, NGO, or think tank settings.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiations, mediation, or multi-stakeholder diplomacy.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, French, or Arabic) is a plus.
- Proficiency with policy databases, data visualization, and MS Office; ability to present data clearly.
- High integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work across cultures and time zones; willingness to travel.
