Join the Global Forum for Diplomacy, a premier international NGO advancing peaceful, evidence-based diplomacy worldwide. In this Geneva-based role, you will shape policy initiatives, coordinate multi-stakeholder dialogues, and help scale our advocacy through research-driven insights.
We seek a strategist who blends rigorous analysis with exemplary diplomacy. You will collaborate with governments, multilateral organizations, and civil society to craft compelling policy positions and actionable recommendations.
What you will do: lead high-stakes policy briefs, represent the organization in select international forums, and mentor a small team of policy analysts. You will also drive impact measurement and knowledge-sharing across our global network.

Responsibility
- Lead the development of policy briefs, position papers, and briefing materials for international meetings and negotiations.
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder dialogues with governments, international organizations, and civil society partners.
- Monitor, analyze, and synthesize global diplomatic developments to inform strategy and advocacy.
- Draft official statements, op-eds, and communications supporting the organization's diplomatic agenda.
- Plan and manage high-profile events, roundtables, and bilateral engagements in Geneva and abroad.
- Collaborate with program teams to design evidence-based interventions and measurable impact indicators.
- Represent the organization in meetings, briefings, and delegations; cultivate trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualification
- Master's degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Law, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in diplomacy, policy analysis, or international affairs; track record in multilateral settings a plus.
- Proficiency in English and French; knowledge of German, Spanish, or Arabic is an asset.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills with a proven ability to translate complex topics into clear briefs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities with government, intergovernmental, and civil society actors.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and travel up to 20% as needed.
