Global Accord Institute is seeking a Senior Diplomacy Analyst to join our Vienna-based team. In this role you will drive strategic policy analysis and facilitate high-stakes dialogues with international partners to advance peaceful and mutually beneficial outcomes. As a member of our Diplomacy Division, you will synthesize evidence, craft persuasive briefs, and lead collaborative engagement with governments, NGOs, and academic experts to shape policy narratives and negotiation positions.
Responsibility
- Lead research initiatives on international security, trade, and multilateral diplomacy to inform policy recommendations.
- Coordinate with government, academia, and civil society to advance priority diplomacy agendas.
- Draft policy briefs, negotiation position papers, and senior-level memoranda for dialogues and negotiations.
- Support negotiation simulations, monitor treaty commitments, and track implementation milestones.
- Analyze geopolitical risk, quantitative data, and qualitative insights to guide strategy.
- Represent the organization at international forums, meetings, and high-level roundtables as needed.
- Develop strategic communications materials to articulate policy positions to diverse audiences.
Qualification
- Master’s degree or higher in International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in diplomacy, policy analysis, or international affairs.
- Strong understanding of multilateral institutions (UN, EU) and geopolitical dynamics.
- Proven track record in negotiations, stakeholder engagement, and consensus-building.
- Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German or French is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and travel as required.
