We are seeking a dynamic Diplomacy Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. This role focuses on advancing international policy objectives through research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic negotiation support.
As part of a cross-functional team, you will analyze global events, draft policy briefs, and coordinate engagements with government partners, think tanks, and international organizations.
Responsibility
- Lead policy analysis and briefing papers on key international issues
- Support high-level diplomacy engagements, including preparatory briefings and post-engagement debriefs
- Coordinate with government offices, embassies, and NGOs to align on shared priorities
- Develop and monitor diplomatic outreach plans, timelines, and milestones
- Prepare talking points, memos, and presentation materials for senior leaders
- Monitor geopolitical developments and provide timely risk assessments
- Support event planning for conferences and roundtables with international partners
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 3-6 years of professional experience in diplomacy, government affairs, or international policy
- Proven track record in negotiations, coalition-building, and stakeholder management
- Strong research and analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication; fluency in at least one foreign language is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
