You will collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to design, implement, and test crisis response strategies, ensuring swift recovery and minimal business impact. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution during high-pressure events.

We offer a premium, collaborative environment that values initiative, data-driven decision making, and clear, concise communications with executives, regulators, and public audiences.

Responsibility

  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of crisis management plans, playbooks, and communications protocols for multi-region, regulatory environments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional incident response across operations, IT, security, communications, and legal to ensure rapid, coordinated decision making.
  • Direct real-time crisis management during incidents, delivering timely updates to executives, boards, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate crisis exercises, tabletop drills, and training programs to enhance organizational readiness and confidence.
  • Oversee post-incident reviews, root-cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Advise senior leadership on risk posture, continuity priorities, and regulatory considerations; translate risk into actionable strategy.
  • Develop external and internal crisis communications plans, including media engagement, stakeholder mapping, and reputation management.
  • Monitor emerging threats and maintain an ongoing risk radar, reporting trends and recommendations to executive sponsors.

Qualification

  • 15+ years of experience in crisis management, business continuity, risk, or related fields, with exposure to high-impact incidents in regulated industries.
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-scale incident response and business continuity programs across complex organizations.
  • Strong leadership, decisiveness, and communication skills; ability to command cross-functional teams under pressure.
  • Experience collaborating with C-suite, regulators, media, and external partners during crises.
  • Advanced degree in risk management, business administration, security, or a related field; relevant certifications (Crisis Management, CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of crisis management frameworks (ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-61, COOP/BCP) and regulatory expectations.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision making and post-incident learning.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20 to 30 percent as needed for engagements and exercises.
