Join Aurora Health Partners as the Director of Hospital Administration. This senior leadership role directs administrative operations across departments to ensure exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and sustainable financial performance. You will partner with the executive team to drive strategy, optimize daily operations, and cultivate a culture of service excellence.
In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, steward resources responsibly, and implement data-driven improvements that advance patient outcomes and experience.
Responsibility
- Direct and oversee hospital administrative operations including patient access, revenue cycle, facilities, information technology, and human resources.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans, annual budgets, capital projects, and service-line initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, CMS, and state health authorities; lead accreditation readiness and risk management.
- Optimize patient flow, scheduling, discharge planning, and resource utilization to improve throughput and satisfaction.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, performance metrics, and data-driven decision making across departments.
- Manage relationships with physicians, department leaders, vendors, and external partners to align operations with clinical goals.
- Oversee talent acquisition, professional development, succession planning, and workforce engagement to attract and retain top talent.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, or related field; MBA with healthcare focus acceptable.
- Minimum 8-10 years of hospital operations/administration experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Proven track record in revenue cycle optimization, cost containment, and financial stewardship.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, HIPAA, CMS) and accreditation processes; experience leading readiness audits.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with data analytics, healthcare IT systems (EPIC, Oracle, SAP), and project management methodologies.
- Ability to lead change in a complex, fast-paced environment; strategic thinker with a customer-focused orientation.
