Responsibility
- Oversee daily hospital operations across departments to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
- Lead financial stewardship, including budgeting, forecasting, cost containment, and revenue cycle optimization.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA, and state healthcare regulations through rigorous governance and audits.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs, measuring outcomes and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with medical staff and department leaders to develop and execute strategic plans, capital projects, and service line expansions.
- Oversee human resources, staffing models, performance management, and talent development for a high-performing team.
- Establish vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and capital equipment planning to support clinical operations.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Health Administration (MHA), Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field; Doctorate or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare administration experience, with demonstrated leadership in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations (Joint Commission, HIPAA, state laws) and accreditation processes.
- Proven financial acumen with experience managing budgets, revenue cycle, and cost optimization.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and change-management skills.
- Experience with healthcare IT systems, EMR/EHR platforms, and data-driven decision making.
