Why Riverside? We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, ongoing professional development, and a collaborative culture that values data-driven decisions and compassionate care.

Responsibility

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all hospital services, including inpatient units, emergency department, perioperative services, ancillary departments, and support services.
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control initiatives to maximize value and sustainability.
  • Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, leading to measurable improvements in HCAHPS scores, readmission rates, and clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, CMS, and state requirements; lead risk management and accreditation readiness.
  • Collaborate with C-suite and leaders across departments to execute strategic plans, capital projects, workforce planning, and technology adoption (including EHR optimization).
  • Oversee talent management including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and succession planning for a large, diverse workforce.
  • Optimize patient flow, bed management, throughput, supply chain, and vendor relationships to improve efficiency and patient experience.

Qualification

  • Minimum 8-12 years of progressive healthcare administration experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and capital projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, HIPAA, CMS) and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and change-management skills with a collaborative, data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, MEDITECH) and data analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Proven ability to drive patient safety, patient experience, and clinical outcomes improvements in a complex hospital setting.
