Job description

Prestige Health Systems is seeking a seasoned Hospital Administrator to lead day-to-day operations across departments in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment. This executive role drives strategy, financial stewardship, quality and safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance to deliver superior patient care.

As a key member of the executive team, you will partner with clinicians, support services, and IT to optimize processes, improve patient flow, and elevate operational performance across the hospital.

Responsibility

  • Provide strategic leadership to hospital operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care daily.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cost-control initiatives while maintaining service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, HIPAA, CMS regulations, and local/state requirements.
  • Lead policy development, standard work procedures, and process improvement initiatives to improve patient flow and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, department heads, and support services to optimize staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization.
  • Oversee performance metrics, quality initiatives, risk management, and patient safety programs.
  • Drive vendor management, contract negotiation, and IT-enabled solutions (EMR, data analytics) to support operations.

Qualification

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital administration or healthcare operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost containment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission, HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and change-management skills; ability to influence across levels.
  • Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner) and data analytics to drive improvements.
  • Track record of improving patient satisfaction, safety, and quality metrics.
  • Professional certification such as FACHE is a plus.
