SummitCare Health Systems is seeking an experienced Hospital Administrator to lead operations at our Seattle campus. This senior role partners with clinical leadership to deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring compliance, fiscal stewardship, and operational excellence across departments.
The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and foster a culture of safety, service, and accountability.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure top-tier patient care, safety, and service delivery.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to support strategic goals.
- Coordinate clinical and administrative teams to improve patient flow and throughput.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO, CMS, and other regulatory standards.
- Develop and monitor governance structures, policies, and performance metrics.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing administrative and support staff.
- Partner with executives to execute strategic initiatives and community partnerships.
Qualification
- Master of Health Administration (MHA) or related field; MBA considered.
- Minimum 7 years of hospital administration or healthcare operations leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety.
- Demonstrated budget management, financial analysis, and cost containment skills.
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems and health information technology.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and change-management abilities.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
- Professional certifications such as FACHE or CHC/CHE are a plus.
