PrimeCare Health Systems is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Hospital Administration to lead operations at a high-volume hospital in Dallas. This executive role oversees operational performance, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and financial stewardship to deliver exceptional patient care.
As a member of the executive leadership team, you will collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and support services to maximize efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and sustain growth through data-driven decision making.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and financial performance to optimize resource utilization and cost control.
- Monitor and improve patient experience metrics, safety culture, and quality outcomes across departments.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives using data analytics and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies as appropriate.
- Collaborate with C-suite, medical staff, and ancillary services to align goals and implement policies.
- Ensure accurate reporting, audit readiness, and adherence to regulatory standards (CMS, Joint Commission).
- Lead workforce planning, talent development, and staff engagement to attract and retain top talent.
- Establish strong vendor and external partner relationships to support hospital operations and community needs.
Qualification
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital administration or health system operations.
- Strong knowledge of CMS/JCAHO regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, revenue cycle, and capital planning in a complex healthcare setting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills; proven track record in leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and health information systems; data-driven decision making.
- Strategic thinker with a client-focused mindset and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
