As Director of Hospital Administration, you will partner with medical leadership to align operations with clinical priorities, champion performance improvement, and lead a high-performing administrative team across finance, human resources, facilities, IT, and patient experience.
Responsibility
- Oversee hospital-wide administrative operations including finance, human resources, facilities, information technology, supply chain, and revenue cycle management.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve quality, patient safety, throughput, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations; lead risk management and incident response.
- Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, contracts, payer relations, and cost containment initiatives to support sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to align service lines with community needs and market opportunities.
- Lead organizational change initiatives, performance analytics, and data-driven decision making across departments.
- Direct talent development, succession planning, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee vendor management and procurement to optimize supply chain and technology investments.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Health Administration (MHA), MBA, or related field; a bachelor’s degree with substantial leadership experience will be considered.
- 7+ years of progressive administrative leadership experience in a hospital or health system.
- Proven expertise in financial management, budgeting, revenue cycle, and operational analytics.
- Deep knowledge of Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; demonstrated change leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in EHR systems, BI tools, and hospital information systems.
- Patient-centric mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and service excellence.
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, complex environment and manage competing priorities.
