Job description

HarmonyPoint Health Network is seeking an accomplished Hospital Administrator to lead operational excellence across departments within our New York City flagship facility. This executive role requires strategic vision, a passion for patient-centered care, and a proven track record of improving efficiency and financial performance.

As Director of Hospital Operations, you will partner with medical leadership, nursing, IT, and finance to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care at every touchpoint. You will cultivate a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement while navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

Responsibility

  • Direct daily hospital operations to deliver high quality, cost effective patient care and ensure service excellence.
  • Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and financial performance; optimize revenue cycle and resource utilization.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, HIPAA and other applicable standards.
  • Oversee patient flow, bed management, staffing models, and workforce development across departments.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to implement evidence based practices and digital health initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, capital projects, and IT alignment to clinical goals.
  • Drive data driven decision making with KPI dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field; Master's (MHA or MBA) preferred.
  • 7-10+ years in hospital administration or healthcare operations with leadership experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost containment, and revenue cycle optimization.
  • In depth knowledge of JCAHO/CMS standards, HIPAA, and accreditation processes.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and change management skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience with EHR systems (Epic, MEDITECH, or similar) and health informatics.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced NYC environment and collaborate across diverse teams.
