VictoryEdge Sports Group is seeking a dynamic Director of Partnerships to lead our sponsorship strategy across major leagues and brands. Based in Los Angeles, this role blends business development, brand partnerships, and fan engagement to drive revenue and elevate the fan experience.
As a senior leader within our partnerships team, you will identify, negotiate, and manage strategic sponsorships, media rights, and activation programs that align with our athletes, teams, and venues.
Responsibilities include building long-term relationships with national and regional brands, coordinating with marketing, media, and events teams, and ensuring measurable impact through data-driven attribution.

Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sponsorship and partnership strategies to maximize revenue, exposure, and fan engagement across all properties.
- Identify, pursue, and secure national and regional sponsorships with brands aligned to our sports properties.
- Negotiate terms, manage contracts, renewals, and compliance, ensuring mutual value for partners and the organization.
- Collaborate with marketing, media, ticketing, and events teams to design integrated campaigns and activations that drive measurable outcomes.
- Oversee sponsorship budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics, including ROAS and attribution modeling.
- Build and mentor a high-performing partnerships team, plus manage external agencies and vendors.
- Lead activation planning for major events, campaigns, and digital initiatives across owned and partner channels.
- Establish data-driven processes to track sponsor impact, provide insights, and optimize portfolio mix.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in partnerships or sponsorships within professional sports or media properties.
- Proven track record negotiating high-value sponsorship deals and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with a client-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics, attribution platforms).
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%) and adapt to flexible schedules around events.
- Deep knowledge of the sports sponsorship landscape, brands, and media rights models.
