Responsibility
- Lead the curation and scheduling of mainstage and community performances, festivals, and touring engagements.
- Oversee production lifecycles including budgeting, scheduling, contract negotiation, and on-site operations.
- Foster relationships with artists, ensembles, venues, funders, schools, and community partners to build a robust programming ecosystem.
- Develop revenue strategies through ticketing, sponsorships, grants, and donor cultivation to sustain artistic initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Education teams to design campaigns that expand access and reach diverse audiences.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in programming and audience development.
- Monitor program performance, analyze metrics, and report outcomes to leadership and board.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, theatre, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in performing arts programming, producing, or arts management.
- Proven track record in budgeting, grants writing, sponsorship development, and fundraising.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Extensive network with artists, venues, festivals, schools, and community organizations.
- Experience with contract management, risk assessment, and safety standards in productions.
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to support performances and events.
