As a Drafter, you will transform concepts into precise 2D drawings and detailing for civil, structural, and architectural components. Working closely with engineers and designers, you will produce fabrication and construction drawings, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes. Your contributions will support procurement, fabrication, and on-site construction activities, contributing to successful project delivery.

Responsibility
- Produce precise 2D drawings and detailing for civil, structural, and architectural components using CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Develop and revise construction drawings, schematics, and fabrication details in collaboration with engineers and designers.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specs, standards, codes, and client requirements; incorporate design changes promptly.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and material takeoffs to support procurement and fabrication processes.
- Maintain organized drawing archives, revision histories, and version control with clear naming conventions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to resolve drawing discrepancies and support on-site needs.
- Assist with site surveys and creation of as-built drawings as required during project execution.
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs to support project timelines and quality assurance.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, notably AutoCAD; familiarity with SolidWorks or Revit is a plus.
- Strong 2D drafting skills and a good understanding of construction drawing standards and symbols.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication skills in English; Malay language skills are beneficial; able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in drafting for construction or engineering projects is preferred.
