PY Konsep Perunding Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail‑oriented Draughtsperson to join our Sabah‑based team. This full‑time role offers hands‑on opportunities to contribute to a range of engineering projects in Kota Kinabalu District. You will collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into precise drawings that support design, procurement, and construction.
As a Draughtsperson, you will develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software, produce construction and shop drawings, and prepare As‑built documentation. You will review designs for code compliance, accuracy, and feasibility, and help maintain drawing libraries and documentation for project handover. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibility
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent) to support design development and construction documentation.
- Produce construction drawings, shop drawings, and As-built documentation for various projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Conduct dimensional checks, material specifications, and BOM generation to support procurement.
- Review and revise drawings based on stakeholder feedback, site measurements, and field conditions.
- Maintain organized drawing libraries, version control, and project documentation for efficient handover.
- Assist with site surveys and verification of on-site conditions to ensure accuracy of as-built drawings.
- Ensure quality and consistency across all drawings through regular checks and QA processes.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting & Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, or other CAD tools.
- Familiarity with local codes and standards in Malaysia and practical drafting practices.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Ability to read, interpret, and integrate engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant draughtsperson or drafting experience.
