Responsibility
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on drilling rigs and support equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic, and electrical systems; perform timely repairs and component replacements.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and service manuals to guide maintenance tasks.
- Disassemble, repair, and reinstall components such as pumps, motors, valves, filters, and hydraulic actuation systems.
- Collaborate with rig crew and supervisors to plan maintenance windows and spare parts procurement.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Prioritize safety by adhering to company policies, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Assist with commissioning, testing, and start-up after maintenance and support equipment reliability improvements.
Qualification
- Technical vocational diploma or relevant certificate in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a drill rig mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, pneumatics, and rig safety standards.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals; basic welding and fabrication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work under demanding field conditions.
- Good communication in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to work in shifts or on-call as required by project schedules.
- Safety certifications or training (OSHA/BOSIET or equivalent) preferred.
