BukuWarung is actively seeking a driven Sales Canvassing Specialist (Merchant Success Executive) or EDC Sales professional to join our field team in Pamekasan and nearby districts (Sampang, Sumenep). In this role you will identify and engage small to medium merchant partners, promote BukuWarung's EDC and POS payment solutions, and guide merchants through onboarding and activation. This is an excellent opportunity to impact digital payments adoption across East Java and support local businesses with innovative fintech solutions.
As an EDC Acquisition Sales professional, you will be responsible for end-to-end merchant onboarding, from lead generation to activation, ensuring a seamless experience for merchants. You will collaborate with operations and customer success teams to deliver reliable payment processing, settlements, and insightful merchant analytics that help merchants grow sales.
Responsibility
- Identify and qualify merchant leads for EDC and BukuWarung payment solutions in Pamekasan, Sampang, and Sumenep.
- Conduct field visits to merchant sites to present value propositions and close new accounts.
- Onboard merchants, collect required documentation, and ensure compliant contract execution.
- Meet or exceed monthly merchant acquisition targets and maintain an accurate sales funnel.
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure smooth installation and activation of EDC devices.
- Provide product demonstrations and training to merchants on EDC usage, settlements, and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong merchant relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and deliver excellent after-sales support.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BukuWarung products and local market trends to optimize performance.
Qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years of field sales, merchant acquisition, or payments/fintech experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting quotas.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Pamekasan, Sampang, and Sumenep; owning a motorcycle or car is a plus.
- Familiarity with EDC devices, POS systems, and BukuWarung ecosystem.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Target-driven mindset with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and report results to leadership.
- Fluent in Indonesian; basic English is a plus.
