BrightMinds Institute is seeking a dynamic Education Content Designer to join our growing team in Seattle. This role blends pedagogy, content strategy, and technology to create engaging, outcomes-driven learning experiences for diverse learners.
As a member of our Curriculum & Learning Design team, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and technologists to build modular, scalable curricula for online and blended programs.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of high-quality curricula and learning materials for online and hybrid programs, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex content into clear, engaging, and accessible lessons.
- Create engaging multimedia assets, interactive activities, and robust assessments to measure learner progress.
- Design and maintain modular, reusable instructional components for a scalable LMS and future-ready courses.
- Apply data-driven analysis to optimize content based on learner outcomes, feedback, and analytics.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive design compliance (WCAG 2.1) across all materials.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to ensure timely delivery and high-quality implementation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development for K-12, higher education, or online programs.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and assessment strategies.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle) and content curation.
- Proficiency with multimedia authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex ideas into accessible content for diverse audiences.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze learner data to inform design decisions.
