NovaLearn is seeking an Education Content Designer to craft engaging curricula and learning experiences for diverse learners. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, and engineers to deliver accessible, outcomes-driven content that empowers teachers and students.
In this role you will advocate for inclusive instruction, align materials to standards, and champion data-informed improvements across programs and platforms.
Responsibility
- Design and author high quality curricula and learning modules across multiple subjects
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate standards into engaging instructional content
- Develop assessments, rubrics, and performance tasks aligned to learning outcomes
- Prototype, test, and iterate learning experiences based on data and feedback
- Coordinate content production schedules, reviews, and quality assurance
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive design across all materials
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate content into platforms and adaptive paths
- Stay current with education research and best practices to inform design decisions
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in education, instructional design, or related field
- 3+ years designing curricula or educational content for K12 or higher education
- Strong written and verbal communication with ability to tell compelling stories
- Familiarity with instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE or backward design
- Experience with content authoring tools and learning management systems
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and universal design for learning
- Collaborative, cross functional team player with project management skills
- Portfolio of prior educational content design work
