BrightPath Education Group is seeking a motivated Education Content Developer to join our growing team in Seattle. This role blends instructional design, curriculum development, and innovative learning technology to create engaging, outcome-driven learning experiences for diverse learners. You will partner with subject matter experts, designers, and teachers to translate standards into modular, scalable content that supports both in class and online learning.
As a pivotal member of our education team, you will influence curriculum strategy, maintain high quality documentation, and ensure content aligns with accessibility and inclusion best practices. This is an opportunity to shape learning experiences used by students across multiple platforms and cohorts.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design engaging, standards aligned curricula for K-12 and adult learners
- Lead the end to end instructional design process from needs analysis to content delivery and assessment
- Develop modular, reusable lesson plans, activities, and rubrics optimized for diverse learning styles and accessibility
- Create and curate assessments, performance tasks, and analytics friendly metrics to measure learning outcomes
- Maintain content in the learning management system and version control repository
- Partner with product design and engineering teams to support content localization and platform enhancements
- Mentor junior content developers and contribute to a growing documentation library
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field masters preferred
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development for education technology
- Strong knowledge of instructional design frameworks and universal design for learning UDL principles
- Proficiency with LMS platforms like Canvas Moodle Blackboard and e learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Captivate
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Portfolio demonstrating previous curriculum development and instructional design work
