BrightPath Academy is seeking an experienced Education Program Designer to lead curriculum development for secondary education programs at our Seattle campus. This role blends instructional design, assessment, and project management to deliver rigorous, engaging learning experiences that align with state and national standards. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and subject matter experts to create impactful curricula that drive student achievement and foster lifelong learning.
As a key member of our academic team, you will translate complex educational concepts into accessible materials, support teachers with professional development, and ensure resources reflect equity and accessibility best practices.
Responsibility
- Design and update comprehensive curricula for multiple subjects aligned to state standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and teachers to develop lesson plans, rubrics, and assessments.
- Develop and curate digital resources using LMS platforms and authoring tools.
- Lead pilot testing, data collection, and iterative improvement based on analytics.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Lead professional development sessions and ongoing coaching for educators.
- Ensure curriculum accessibility and inclusive practices across platforms.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Strong knowledge of standards alignment (state or national).
- Experience with LMS (Canvas, Moodle) and e-learning tools (Articulate 360, Captivate).
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into engaging learning materials.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and project-management skills.
- Portfolio of curricula and modules showcasing impact on learner outcomes.
