Responsibility
- Design and align curricula with state and district standards to ensure consistency and rigor across grade levels.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative tools; interpret data to inform instruction and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement evidence-based instructional strategies and differentiation for diverse learners.
- Provide targeted coaching and professional development to staff on classroom best practices and assessment literacy.
- Lead intervention planning for at-risk students and monitor outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Support school-wide equity initiatives and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Engage with families and caregivers to communicate progress and resources, building strong home-school partnerships.
- Monitor compliance with district policies and reporting requirements, ensuring timely documentation and accountability.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching certification valid in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 settings; demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and assessment literacy.
- Experience designing and implementing curriculum and professional development for teachers.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse communities.
- Proficiency with educational technology, data analysis tools, and learning management systems.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
