Join Northwest Academy of Innovative Learning as an Education Technology Specialist. This role partners with teachers and administrators to design and implement technology-enhanced instruction, expand digital learning opportunities, and advance equitable access to high-quality education.
Based in Seattle, you will lead professional development, manage EdTech tools across the school, and analyze learning data to inform instructional decisions. The ideal candidate blends instructional expertise with technical acumen and a passion for inclusive education.
Responsibility
- Design and implement technology-integrated lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Deliver ongoing professional development and coaching to teachers on EdTech tools, pedagogy, and assessment.
- Administer and optimize the learning management system and digital content library.
- Analyze student learning data to inform instruction and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Lead pilot programs for new EdTech tools and evaluate vendors in collaboration with administration.
- Champion digital citizenship, accessibility, and equitable technology access for all students.
- Collaborate with IT, librarians, and teachers to troubleshoot devices and ensure smooth learning experiences.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in education technology integration, instructional design, or related roles.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms (Canvas, Google Classroom, Schoology) and productivity suites.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, assessment design, and data-driven instruction.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable instructional improvements.
- Commitment to equity and inclusive practices; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
