JTE Recruit is partnering with a leading manufacturer of LV switchgear and controlgear. We are seeking an Electrical Drafter who will contribute to the design and documentation of electrical assemblies. This role provides hands-on training and a clear path to professional growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment in the North Region (Senoko).
As an Electrical Drafter, you will translate engineering concepts into precise electrical drawings, generate wiring diagrams, and support the production team with detailed schematics for assembly and testing. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with applicable standards and project specifications, while learning company-specific drafting tools and methodologies through our structured training program.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:15pm. The position offers a competitive starting salary with a basic up to S$3,000 per month plus variable bonuses, reflecting your skills and contributions, with room for growth as you gain experience in LV switchgear and controlgear design.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams from engineering data and approved drawings.
- Create and modify CAD drawings in AutoCAD for LV switchgear assemblies.
- Ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent, standards, tolerances, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers, electrical designers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design intent is maintained through production.
- Assist with BOMs, parts lists, and material specifications for switchgear assemblies.
- Maintain document control, revision history, and library of drawings for easy access and traceability.
- Support design reviews and validation activities with prototypes and testing results.
- Ensure timely delivery of drafts and maintain organized files for manufacturing teams.

Qualification
- Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field; training program welcome.
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical drafting, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software; familiarity with EPLAN is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to standards and tolerances.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and collaborate with engineers and shop floor teams.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tools and processes; readiness to participate in a training program.
- Knowledge of LV switchgear and controlgear concepts is advantageous.
