Join PT Powertek Indo Asia as an Electrical Engineer in Cikarang, Jawa Barat. You will design, develop, and support electrical systems and panel projects that meet stringent technical standards and client requirements. This full-time role offers hands-on exposure to industrial electrical engineering, control panels, and automation projects.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will translate specifications into robust electrical designs, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure on-time delivery from concept to commissioning. You will work with modern design tools, applying best practices in safety, quality, and reliability while supporting customers and internal stakeholders.
Key duties include designing electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics; selecting components; performing protection and sizing calculations; and ensuring compliance with IEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes. You will participate in FAT/SAT, support installation and commissioning activities, and generate comprehensive documentation for project handover.

Responsibility
- Lead electrical design for panel projects and control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD or EPLAN, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Perform electrical calculations for circuit sizing, protection coordination, and energy efficiency.
- Select and specify components (relays, contactors, VFDs, PLCs) and verify compliance with IEC, NFPA 70/NEC, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams to define electrical interfaces and requirements for new machinery and automation projects.
- Support manufacturing, testing, and commissioning activities, including FAT/SAT, field wiring, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Maintain project documentation, bill of materials, as-built drawings, and change logs for traceability and handover to customers.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering for industrial panels, machinery, or automation projects.
- Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD and EPLAN; familiarity with SolidWorks Electrical is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, NFPA 70/NEC, local regulations).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and basic HMI/SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; willing to travel for site support and commissioning.
- Fluent in English; additional Indonesian language is a plus.
