Job description
We are seeking a results-driven Electrical Engineer to join our San Jose office. You will design, analyze, and test high-performance electrical systems for our next generation hardware products. This role collaborates closely with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, safe, and scalable solutions.
As part of the hardware team you will own end-to-end development from concept through validation and into production, ensuring reliability, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibility
- Design, analyze, and verify analog and digital circuits, power electronics, and control systems.
- Develop schematics and layouts using CAD tools; perform DFM and thermal analysis.
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to define requirements and interfaces.
- Plan and execute hardware validation, stress testing, and reliability assessments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and BOMs.
- Support manufacturing and debugging on prototypes and production builds.
- Evaluate suppliers and components for cost, availability, and compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant hardware design experience in consumer or industrial electronics.
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, signal integrity, and power electronics.
- Proficiency with CAD/EDA tools (Altium/OrCAD/Allegro) and SPICE-based simulation.
- Experience with EMI/EMC, regulatory compliance, and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on prototyping, debugging, and a collaborative problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
