- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and verification plans using industry-standard tools.
- Plan and execute prototype testing, debugging, and risk assessment across hardware and firmware interfaces.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.
- Manage BOM, vendor selection, and cost constraints while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (UL, CE, FCC) and drive design-for-testability and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical mentoring programs.
- Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and data-driven decision making.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems, power electronics, and analog/digital circuit design.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad) and simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ for firmware interfaces and test automation.
- Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, DSPs, and signal integrity.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, IPC standards, and regulatory compliance (UL, CE, FCC).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
