As part of our engineering team, you will impact the design lifecycle, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement through rigorous testing, documentation, and design reviews.
Responsibility
- Lead design and development of power electronics, control systems, and analog/digital circuits for industrial applications.
- Own system requirements, architecture, schematics, and PCB layouts using AutoCAD/ECAD tools.
- Perform simulations in MATLAB/Simulink; validate designs through bench testing and prototyping.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, EMI/EMC, and relevant industry standards (IEEE, IEC).
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust production-ready solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across projects.
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions in fielded systems.
- Support production and field service with documentation, test plans, and configuration management.
Qualification
- B.S./B.E./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years of experience in power systems or controls.
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, PLCs, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE/PSpice, and PCB design software (Altium, Cadence).
- Experience with communication protocols (MODBUS, Ethernet/IP, CAN) and embedded systems.
- Hands-on lab experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) and prototyping.
- Familiarity with standards: IEC 61010, UL 1741, EMC/EMI guidelines; safety risk assessments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- US work authorization; ability to travel up to 15% if required.
