Responsibility
- Contribute to the design, calculations, and specification of electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and material take-offs using AutoCAD or Revit MEP.
- Perform electrical load analysis, short-circuit studies, protective device coordination, and energy efficiency assessments.
- Ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code and other relevant standards; support safety and quality assurance programs.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other disciplines to deliver integrated systems and support field construction and commissioning.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and vendor quotes; respond to RFIs and provide technical guidance to contractors.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians; conduct site visits, document observations, and help prepare as-built records.
- Assist with project scheduling, cost control, and documentation to support successful project delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- PRC Registered Electrical Engineer (R.E.E.) or Professional Electrical Engineer (P.E.E.) license.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project delivery for buildings or infrastructure.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP or SKM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine electrical codes, standards, and electrical safety practices; ability to perform load calculations and short-circuit analyses.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with site supervision, commissioning, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.
