Join NovaTech Innovations, a leading engineering company shaping the future of intelligent power systems. We are seeking a results-driven Electrical Engineer to design, test, and bring to production high-performance analog and power electronic circuits for our next-generation products.
Based in Austin, TX (hybrid options available), you will collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver safe, reliable, and compliant solutions. You will own the full lifecycle of electrical designs from concept through verification and field support.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end electrical design from concept to production release for commercial and industrial products.
- Develop analog and power electronic circuits, sensor interfaces, and embedded control loops.
- Create EMI/EMC-compliant schematics and PCB layouts using Altium or similar tools.
- Perform circuit simulations (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) and rigorous design verification.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability and testability.
- Develop and execute test plans, collect data, and drive root-cause analysis for product issues.
- Support product qualification, regulatory compliance, and field issue investigations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical design for electronic and electromechanical products.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium preferred), SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and test equipment.
- Strong background in power electronics, analog/digital circuit design, and sensor interfaces.
- Experience with EMI/EMC, regulatory standards (UL, IEC, CE) and design for manufacturability.
- Prototyping, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills with a bias for practical, reliable solutions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
