NovaGrid Solutions is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our hardware team in Dallas. You will design, develop, and validate advanced electrical systems that power cutting edge industrial and energy storage solutions. This is a hands-on, hybrid role that blends analog and digital circuit design with practical hardware testing in a fast-growing company.
\nWhat you will do as part of our team:
Responsibility

- Design and prototype analog and digital circuits for power electronics and control systems \n
- Develop and review schematics, FPGA/embedded controller interfaces, and PCB layouts \n
- Perform rigorous hardware testing, validation, and failure analysis in lab environments \n
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs \n
- Support qualification testing and compliance with safety and EMC standards \n
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, test procedures, and design notebooks \n
- Drive design improvements through data-driven analysis and test results \n
- Assist with supplier evaluation and component selection for reliability and cost targets \n
Qualification

- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field \n
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical design experience in power electronics or embedded hardware \n
- Strong proficiency with PCB design tools and SPICE simulations \n
- Experience with lab equipment and measurement techniques for high-power circuits \n
- Knowledge of safety standards and EMI/EMC compliance \n
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and data analysis; familiarity with LabVIEW a plus \n
- Excellent problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills \n
