Join StaffKing Pte Ltd as an Electrical Engineer / Electrical Manager (Critical Power Solutions) in Singapore's Central Region. Responsibility
- Lead the electrical design and integration of critical power systems (UPS, diesel gensets, batteries, transfer switches, switchgear) for data centers, commercial facilities and industrial sites.
- Manage full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management and client liaison.
- Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, single-line diagrams and equipment specifications; ensure compliance with IEC 60364, NFPA 70, NFPA 110 and related standards.
- Oversee site supervision, testing and commissioning of power systems; coordinate with M&E trades and contractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
- Optimize reliability and energy efficiency; implement monitoring, BMS/SCADA integration and lifecycle cost reduction strategies.
- Maintain QA/QC, safety compliance and comprehensive documentation, including as-built packs and operation & maintenance manuals.
- Mentor junior engineers, supervise design teams and support business development and proposal activities.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; professional engineer license preferred.
- At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience in critical power environments (data centers, healthcare, industrial facilities).
- Deep knowledge of UPS systems, diesel generators, batteries, BESS, switchgear, transformers and electrical distribution.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM or similar power system software; familiarity with IEC/NFPA standards.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage budgets, schedules and stakeholders; PMP is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities; capable of working with cross-functional teams in Singapore.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as required; meticulous documentation and problem-solving mindset.
