Job description
Join BrightForge Electronics as an Electrical Engineer focusing on embedded systems and power electronics. You will contribute to the full product life cycle, from concept through production, delivering reliable, high-performance electrical designs for industrial automation and consumer devices.
We value creative problem-solvers who collaborate across disciplines and own outcomes. You will work with a passionate team to push the boundaries of what is possible in modern electronics.
Responsibility
- Lead analog and digital circuit design for embedded systems, including power electronics and sensor interfaces.
- Develop, review, and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using Altium/OrCAD.
- Perform system-level analyses, tolerance studies, and reliability testing to ensure robust designs.
- Create comprehensive test plans, verification procedures, and documentation for NPI and mass production.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacture and design-for-test principles.
- Support product lifecycle from concept through validation, certification, and field support.
- Ensure compliance with safety, EMC/EMI, and regulatory standards; drive design improvements based on test results.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and power electronics.
- Strong proficiency with CAD tools (Altium/OrCAD), SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and LabVIEW.
- Experience with microcontrollers and embedded C/C++, sensor interfaces, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, thermal management, and PCB design for high reliability.
- Experience with NPI/DVT, manufacturing support, and design for test.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
