In this role, you will own key facets of electrical systems for power projects, including calculations, protective device coordination, wiring diagrams, and documentation. You will collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation, and civil teams, interface with suppliers and contractors, and ensure compliance with international standards and local codes. Field presence for installation, testing, and commissioning will be essential, as will the ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibility
- Lead electrical design and analysis for power projects, including calculations, schematics, and protective relay coordination.
- Develop and maintain electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, BOMs, and datasheets in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and civil disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support procurement, vendor qualification, and construction activities including site supervision during installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Provide technical guidance during FEED/detail design, and support commissioning and performance validation.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, technical specifications, and as-built records.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience in electrical engineering for power projects or industrial facilities.
- Strong proficiency with electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP/SPS, SKM, or equivalent) and MS Office.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC/local equivalents) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with HV/LV distribution systems, protective relays, and switchgear selection.
- Professional certification such as PE License or Chartered Engineer is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required and to work on-site during critical phases.
