Job description

MMC Success is a well-established M&E engineering firm with global operations and a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and engineering excellence. We are seeking a passionate Electrical/Mechanical Engineer at entry level to join our LTA project teams in Singapore's Commonwealth, Central Region. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—from concept through commissioning—while developing core skills in electrical and mechanical design, systems integration, and field execution.

In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable M&E solutions for complex transport infrastructure projects. You will learn to interpret drawings, prepare specifications, support procurement, and participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities under safety and QA standards. We value problem solvers with a can-do attitude who are eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to a high-performance organization.

What you will gain: exposure to LTA standards, hands-on experience with building services and M&E systems, mentorship from experienced engineers, structured training, and a clear path to professional accreditation. If you are a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Singapore's thriving infrastructure sector, this is your chance to make an impact with MMC Success.

Responsibility

  • Assist electrical and mechanical design and analysis for M&E systems on LTA projects, including load calculations and equipment sizing.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, proposals, and Bills of Quantities in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Support project coordination, schedule tracking, and interface management with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Perform standard engineering calculations (load, short-circuit, voltage drop) and participate in energy efficiency and sustainability reviews.
  • Assist in site inspections, commissioning, testing, and handover activities while ensuring compliance with safety and QA/QC procedures.
  • Contribute to risk assessments, method statements, and quality documentation to meet LTA and BCA requirements.
  • Assist procurement with vendor evaluation, technical clarifications, and process-related documentation.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field; fresh graduates welcome.
  • Entry-level or up to 2 years of relevant experience with a strong interest in M&E for infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of M&E systems including electrical distribution, lighting, HVAC/IAQ, fire protection, and plumbing services.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Building Code, LTA guidelines, BCA requirements, and QA processes; eager to learn.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; ability to interpret drawings and perform basic 3D modeling.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; able to work both in office and on-site with flexibility for site visits.
