As an Electrical Power Engineer, you will lead design, analysis, and implementation of power distribution, generation, and protection schemes across challenging projects. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and directly influence project outcomes.

Responsibility
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical power distribution systems for client projects, including HV/LV equipment and switchgear.
- Model and simulate power systems using ETAP, SKM, and other IEEE-compliant tools to ensure reliability and protection coordination.
- Develop protection schemes, relay settings, and SCADA/PCS integration plans in collaboration with control engineers.
- Prepare technical specifications, evaluate bids, and provide vendor recommendations for transformers, switchgear, and cabling.
- Perform arc flash/risk assessments, ensure HSE compliance, and promote a safe working environment on-site and in the office.
- Lead project planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination to meet schedule and budget objectives.
- Provide field support during commissioning, testing, and start-up, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical power design, distribution, generation, or utility-scale projects.
- Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD Electrical, and Revit MEP; familiarity with PLC/SCADA integration.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEC standards, and electrical safety best practices.
- Experience with protection relays, harmonic analysis, coordination studies, and switchgear selection.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project-management skills; ability to travel as needed (up to 20%).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; EIT/FE considered.
