Responsibility

  • Design and analyze electrical power systems for generation, transmission, and distribution projects.
  • Perform protection and control design, relay coordination, and SCADA integration.
  • Develop models (ETAP, PSS/E, SKM, PSCAD) and run load flow, short-circuit, and dynamic studies.
  • Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and bid packages; support procurement and commissioning.
  • Lead project deliverables, schedules, risk assessment, and client communications.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NERC standards and grid interconnection requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical proposals and client wins.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (PE preferred or in progress).
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems engineering in utility, industrial, or renewable sectors.
  • Proficiency with ETAP, PSS/E, SKM, PSCAD; familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of protective relaying, switchgear, transformers, and transmission/distribution systems.
  • Experience with design standards (NERC CIP, IEEE 1547, NEC) and interconnection studies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills; strong proposal and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% and legally work in the United States.
