Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging electrical training sessions for technicians and operators on wiring, control systems, drives, instrumentation, and safety.
  • Assess learning needs, develop training materials, and tailor programs to equipment lines and production schedules.
  • Lead hands-on troubleshooting sessions on electrical panels, PLCs, sensors, circuit diagrams, and motor control.
  • Monitor trainee progress, provide constructive feedback, and document competencies for certification programs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to standardize procedures and create clear operating manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lockout-tagout procedures, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
  • Support onboarding of new hires and temporary staff, maintaining training calendars and records.
  • Assist in equipment audits and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and enhance reliability.

Qualification

  • Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance or technician experience; training experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and control circuits.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver technical training and assess learner performance.
  • Familiarity with safety standards (IEC 60204-1 and local regulations) and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and classroom or on-site training skills.
  • Ability to work under contract, adapt to production shifts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams and using basic electrical testing tools.
