As an Electronics Technician, you will support manufacturing and repair operations, ensuring uncompromising quality and adherence to safety standards. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams to deliver dependable products for global customers.
Responsibility
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs to accurately build and repair electronic assemblies.
- Assemble, solder, wire, and test PCB assemblies and electronic subsystems using standard processes.
- Calibrate and align analog, digital, and RF circuits as required by project specifications.
- Operate and maintain test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators) to verify performance.
- Troubleshoot hardware defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with documentation.
- Document test results, update assembly records, and support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and quality standards (IPC-A-610, company procedures); assist with qualification tests as needed.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in electronics preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on electronics assembly, PCB repair, or test experience in a production or repair environment.
- Proficiency with soldering (lead-free) and hand tools; experience with rework and component placement.
- Strong familiarity with test equipment: DMM, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, function generator.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings; solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and related quality standards; commitment to quality and documentation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities; able to adapt to changing priorities.
