Join our fast-growing Electronics team as an Electronics Technician in the vibrant tech hub of Austin, Texas. You will work on high-quality consumer and industrial electronics, performing assembly, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure peak performance across our product line. Responsibility
- Assemble, solder, and wire PCB assemblies and electromechanical components to defined specifications.
- Test and diagnose boards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and standardized test fixtures.
- Document test results, anomalies, and corrective actions in ERP/PLM systems.
- Support PCB soldering and rework with adherence to IPC standards.
- Assist engineering with prototype builds, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Perform calibration and functional verification of subassemblies and finished products.
- Maintain inventory, organize workstations for 5S and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with QA and Manufacturing to achieve quality, yield, and delivery targets.
Qualification
- 3+ years of hands-on electronics assembly, repair, or test experience; production or lab environment preferred.
- Strong soldering skills (lead-free, surface mount and through-hole) and familiarity with IPC standards.
- Experience using DMM, oscilloscope, function generator, and bench instruments.
- Understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring, harnessing, and cable assembly.
- Ability to read schematics/PCB layouts and follow test procedures precisely.
- Detail-oriented, with robust documentation and data-entry skills; strong problem-solving mindset.
- Team player with good communication; ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new test methods and equipment.
