PulseTech Electronics is seeking a meticulous Electronics Technician to join our growing manufacturing team in Austin, Texas. You will diagnose, assemble, test, and repair electronic assemblies and systems to ensure performance meets rigorous quality standards. This role blends hands-on work with documentation and collaboration across engineering and production teams.

Responsibility
- Perform routine inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and PCB boards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and other test equipment.
- Assemble, solder, and wire electronic components per engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Document test results, anomalies, and corrective actions in the QA system and ERP.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment; assist in fixture development and calibration schedules.
- Support production lines with rapid root-cause analysis of failures and process improvements.
- Assist with component qualification, soldering QC, and IPC compliance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with ESD and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering on schematic reviews, changes, and first article inspections.
Qualification
- High school diploma or technical diploma; associate degree in electronics preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on electronics troubleshooting, assembly, or repair in manufacturing or lab environments.
- Experience with PCB assembly, rework, and soldering in accordance with IPC standards.
- Proficiency with test equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator, power supply.
- Understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and GD&T basics.
- Familiarity with ESD control, safety standards, and cleanroom practices.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and documentation skills; excellent collaboration abilities.
