Responsibility

  • Assemble, test, and calibrate electronic assemblies and PCBs using standard tools and test fixtures.
  • Inspect components for quality, document results, and report anomalies to engineering.
  • Perform soldering and rework following IPC standards; maintain traceability of work.
  • Set up and operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware issues during prototyping and production runs.
  • Document procedures, maintain calibration logs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Support production readiness activities including BOM reconciliation and fixture validation.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve test coverage and reduce cycle times.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or AS in electronics preferred.
  • 2+ years hands-on electronics testing/maintenance experience in manufacturing or R&D.
  • Proficient with soldering (IPC 610/620) and basic PCB troubleshooting.
  • Experience with test equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, spectrum analyzer.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail; ability to follow procedures and meet schedules.
  • Knowledge of ESD practices and safety policies in a lab environment.
  • Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings; familiarity with IPC standards a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork; problem-solving mindset.
