Responsibility

  • Assemble, inspect, solder, and test PCB assemblies and electronic sub systems to IPC A 610 and IPC J STD 001 standards.
  • Perform functional and in circuit tests using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and specialized test fixtures.
  • Document test results, deviations, and non conformance in the ERP MIS system.
  • Assist with calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware in production and R&D environments.
  • Support new product introductions by setting up test jigs, fixtures and diagnostic software.
  • Maintain ESD safe work areas and follow safety procedures to ensure product quality and personnel safety.

Qualification

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field; or equivalent hands on experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • 2+ years of hands on experience with PCB assembly, soldering and surface mount technology.
  • Strong proficiency with test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope and PCB troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards IPC A 610 and IPC J STD 001 and quality control processes.
  • Excellent problem solving, documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; knowledge of CAD EDA tools is a plus.
  • Awareness of ESD practices and basic soldering certifications such as J STD 001 or IPC 7711 7721 a plus.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
