NovaCircuits Electronics is hiring a meticulous Electronics Technician to join our manufacturing team in Austin, TX. This role focuses on assembling, testing, and debugging electronic assemblies used in consumer and industrial products. You will work with engineers and production staff to ensure quality and reliability from prototyping to high-volume production.

Responsibility
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and assemblies to IPC and company standards.
- Perform functional and environmental tests using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized test equipment.
- Read schematics, layout drawings, and BOMs to support assembly and repair tasks.
- Calibrate and adjust components to achieve required tolerances and performance specs.
- Document test results, failures, and corrective actions in the ERP/PLM system.
- Collaborate with engineers to diagnose root causes and implement process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workbench and comply with ESD and safety protocols.
Qualification
- Associate degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with PCB testing, soldering, and assembly in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) and basic circuit debugging.
- Strong reading of schematics and wiring diagrams; knowledge of IPC standards is a plus.
- Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
