Responsibility
- Assemble, solder, and wire electronic components to IPC standards on printed circuit boards.
- Perform in-circuit and functional tests using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and dedicated test jigs.
- Inspect PCBs for soldering quality, component placement, and workmanship; identify and document defects.
- Troubleshoot non-conforming assemblies and assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Record test data and maintain accurate production documentation for traceability.
- Assist with calibration, rework, and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve throughput and quality.
- Adhere to ESD, safety, and quality policies; participate in continuous improvement activities.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in electronics preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on electronics assembly/testing experience in manufacturing.
- Proficiency with soldering irons, hand tools, and PCB handling; comfortable with IPC soldering standards.
- Experience using measurement instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator).
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs; basic knowledge of PCB layout.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork; good documentation habits.
- Basic understanding of ESD practices and safety procedures; willingness to learn and adapt.
