Responsibility

  • Assemble, inspect, test, and verify electronic assemblies, PCBs, cables, and harnesses to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
  • Perform functional, environmental, and safety tests using meters, scopes, and specialized equipment; document results accurately.
  • Troubleshoot and repair assemblies to root cause quickly, implementing containment actions as needed.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and IPC guidelines to guide assembly and repair work.
  • Support PCB rework, soldering, hot/cold jet soldering, and lead-free processes with precision and care.
  • Prepare and maintain test fixtures and lab equipment, ensuring calibration and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA to resolve non-conformances and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP/MIS systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualification

  • 2+ years of hands-on electronics technician or assembly experience in a manufacturing or lab environment.
  • Proficient with multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and basic ESD-safe handling.
  • Strong soldering skills and familiarity with IPC Class 2/3 requirements; ability to read and interpret PCB layouts and schematics.
  • Experience with SMT and through-hole assembly, rework, and PCB cleaning processes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and documentation practices; familiarity with IPC-A-610 is a plus.
  • Team player with effective communication and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
