Job description
Join our growing hardware team in Austin, Texas. As an Electronics Technician, you will support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic assemblies for our consumer and industrial products. This hands-on role offers exposure to soldering, inspection, and measurement equipment, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and new product readiness.
You will collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure quality and reliability while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibility
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and PCBs to engineering specifications.
- Perform functional and in circuit tests using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
- Calibrate devices and record measurement results with accuracy and traceability.
- Inspect components for quality and ensure compliance with IPC standards and customer requirements.
- Support root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with tooling, fixtures, and production line readiness for new products.
- Maintain thorough, accurate test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certificate in electronics preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as an electronics technician or in a related role.
- Proficient with soldering and PCB assembly techniques; familiarity with IPC standards a plus.
- Experience testing with multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data logging tools.
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; strong problem solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; a collaborative mindset and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to quality processes and documentation requirements.
